Police car on Calle Siglo de Oro in Valladolid, this Thursday Juan Navarro García
Agents of the National Police arrested a 16-year-old minor in Valladolid around seven this Thursday afternoon as the suspected perpetrator of the violent death of his mother, Eva María Sánchez Villarreal, 50, according to the sub-delegation of the provincial government.
The events happened shortly before, around 6:40 p.m., at the family home, located on the first floor of calle Siglo de Oro, number 10, in the La Rondilla neighborhood. According to all evidence, the prisoner attacked his mother with a knife, who died almost immediately.

The alleged perpetrator told his girlfriend, who lives in Barcelona, what had happened by phone and she immediately called the emergency number 112. The minor did not fight back when he was arrested and was later taken to the Delicias police station, he says to the government sub-delegation.
The 112 reported the incident to the local Valladolid police, the National Police Corps and the Sanitarias-Sacyl emergency call centers, who dispatched a mobile UVI. “The police entered through the gallery because they didn’t allow entry,” says one of the residents of the building. Another neighbor assures that “they made little life on the block” and that they were hardly seen.
In addition, a vehicle from the forensic institute and a forensic delivery van also came to the house where the body of the deceased was brought in at nine o’clock in the morning. About 50 people have gathered around the building where, according to several neighbors, the mother and son have only been living in for a few months and have had no relationship with the other residents. Both lived with a man, but the relationship he had with them has not been leaked.

In the late afternoon, the minor’s father, who was clearly concerned, came into the building, heard about the incident from the media and assured the journalists that he could not believe it. He called his mother this afternoon and she told him that the young man was “a stranger” because of an argument with his girlfriend. The man points out that his son has never shown aggressive behavior.
He also learned of the death of one of his daughters from the press, who asked a friend to come to the building to make sure and who confirmed the facts over the phone.
Friends of the detained minor have also gathered in front of the doors of the building. Three of them describe him as “very calm” and assure that he never caused any problems. Another adds that the young man often complained about a bad relationship with his parents. One of her friends points out that she’s seen him “changed” lately. Also that he and his mother had often attended tutorials at his institute, the Núñez de Arce de Valladolid, and his academic performance had declined.
