OBJ to consider Browns reunion

could Odell Beckham Jr. back to Cleveland? According to Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com, OBJ is “open to the possibility” of signing the Browns. However, it is unclear if the Browns would be interested in a reunion.

OBJ to consider Browns reunionYesterday Beckham replied to a tweet asking about his interest in joining the Browns, stating “it’s interesting”. According to Cabot, OBJ only wanted to leave the Browns after his relationship with the quarterback Baker Mayfield “reached the point of no return,” and the veteran “loved his teammates and Browns fans. As Cabot notes, OBJ has fans in owners Jimmy and Dee Haslam and still “has the full support of his former Browns teammates.”

In a world where OBJ does return to Cleveland, he will rejoin a completely revamped offense. Deshawn Watson is now under the center, and while Jarvis Landry won’t come back, the Browns switched to Amari Cooper. Beckham will undoubtedly play a major role in Cleveland’s offense despite his erratic two-plus seasons in the organization.

OBJ joined the Rams after being fired by the Browns, and had 27 receptions for 305 yards and five touchdowns in eight games (seven starts) as the game progressed. He scored two more playoff touchdowns before suffering a knee injury during the Super Bowl.
