Moon Knight Trailer Reveals A New Look At Cape Powers & Full Demon Creature

Get a closer look at Marvel’s Moon Knight with a brand new trailer revealing more cape action and Arthur Harrow’s fearsome demon creature.

The latest trailer for Marvel Studios moon knight reveals a closer, better look at Oscar Isaac’s full powers and the demonic creature that comes after him. Marvel has a long list of shows for Disney+ in the works, and the top one starts in just a week. Moon Knight launches on the streaming service next Wednesday, beginning 6 weeks of mystery, magic, and action. Oscar Isaac plays Marc Spector, a mercenary with dissociative identity disorder who was gifted with special powers by the Egyptian moon god Khonshu.

When Moon Knight begins, it looks like one of Marc’s likenesses, Steven Grant, will be in charge. Steven is a humble gift shop clerk confused by the strange memories floating around in his head – memories he can’t remember. His journey forward will be full of twists and turns, but as usual, Marvel has made sure to keep them all under wraps for now. Also starring in Moon Knight is May Calamawy and Ethan Hawke, who plays the series’ main villain, Arthur Harrow.

Just a week before Moon Knight’s arrival, Marvel Entertainment has unveiled a new trailer for the series. The approximately 1-minute clip showcases Isaac’s Full Moon Knight costume – and his powers – at their best, while also teasing the terrifying demon creature that Harrow summons. It looks like Marc and the demon are having an epic brawl that will no doubt be exciting to watch on screen. Check out the trailer below.

Some of the footage in the trailer above was shown in other TV spots for Moon Knight, showing how little Marvel has revealed about the show. Moon Knight has been hyped as the darkest MCU series yet and also the franchise’s first proper character study since Iron Man. The new trailer offers a mix of that, with the action balanced by the moments when Marc and Steven talk to each other. It looks like the audience will learn a lot about Marc’s life through Steven as he begins to piece it all together himself.

Between the intricate character work, Moon Knight will still offer many of the action viewership it’s come to expect from Marvel productions. The actual Moon Knight costume makes for an impressive visual, and it will be exciting to see it really come to life in the full battle scenes. Moon Knight will lean more into the mystical than the last Marvel show Hawkeye, as evidenced by the demonic creature and Isaac’s full transformation into the titular hero. Marvel did a great job cheering this mystery show up, and it’ll be exciting to see where it goes when it finally premieres next week.
