According to the Minas Gerais Military Police (PMMG), authorities could arrest Filipe Ret for drug trafficking if the cigarettes are confirmed to be marijuana.
“Giving, offering, selling and bartering [maconha]. Human trafficking until the law is repealed by the National Congress. Crimes, and since we are crimes and we are in the act, we need authorities of whatever nature, federal, state, or local, to arrest them in the act. But you have to wait for the report to say if it really was marijuana,” Colonel Gilmar Luciano explained during an interview with the podcast “Pod or no Pode?” hosted by journalist Ricardo Carlini.

According to the Police Department for Narcotics Suppression (DRE), an investigation has been launched to look into the matter. The event took place on June 22nd at the Viva Rio in the Flamengo district.
