Bob Saget’s widow is awaiting the coroner’s report after a crew member claimed the late comedian “didn’t feel well” the night he died.
“The released records tell the whole story — that is, Bob died after a fall and hit his head in his hotel room,” Saget family attorney Brian H. Bieber said on behalf of Page Six in a statement Thursday by Kelly Rizzo.
“Now that the Coroner’s and Police Department records have been released following their respective thorough investigations, the Saget family would value their privacy so that they could grieve in peace.”
Rosalie Cocci, the showrunner of the “Full House” grad’s final comedy show, told Orange County, Fla. police that Saget allegedly said his hearing was “out” and that he had a “sore throat” before taking the stage on January 8th.
Cocci claimed Saget “explained” that he had “long-term COVID” and “it took his body a long time to get over it.” She also noted that the actor “seemed fine” and “made jokes” during his nearly two-hour performance.

“He wasn’t sweating, he didn’t miss a beat, nothing slurred. … He came out very energetic,” she said of Saget’s performance.
The autopsy report obtained by Page Six confirmed that Saget still had the coronavirus in his system at the time of his death. It also revealed that the former Fuller House star had multiple skull fractures, as well as bleeding and contusions to the brain, and that his death was “the result of blunt head trauma.”

His death on January 9 was ruled an accident, with authorities ruling out third-party negligence. Police officers reportedly believe Saget fell and hit his head on the marble bathroom floor before going to bed, where he was found dead. He was 65.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Department earlier this week released photos of the Ritz-Carlton hotel room where Saget died.
