UN chief advocates better use of groundwater

The US is trying to divert attention from military laboratories in Ukraine

“You speak of some kind of short-lived threat of chemical weapons use by Russia. This is simply nothing more than an attempt to divert attention from the scandal that has erupted,” the Russian official told reporters.

In response to a question about the alleged use of phosphorus bombs in Ukraine, the Russian representative stressed that his country had never violated international conventions on the use of prohibited weapons and asked journalists to direct their questions to the Ministry of Defense for details on the matter.

He also stated that Moscow would seek an explanation from the United States about the connection between Hunter Biden, son of US President Joe Biden, and research being conducted by biological laboratories in Ukraine.

“Of course we will also ask for explanations. And not just us. You know that China has already demanded these explanations, demanded that this program and the situation be made transparent to the world. Of course, that will be of interest to a lot of people,” he explained.

The day before, the President of the Russian State Duma (lower house), Vyacheslav Volodin, had demanded an explanation from the US head of state in this regard.

“It is not just any person who is involved in the creation of bio-laboratories in Ukraine, but the President of the United States himself,” the Russian politician wrote on his Telegram channel.

He stressed that the investment fund managed by his son is one of the backers of research and implementation of the US military biology program in that country. “Obviously, Joe Biden, both as a father and as a head of state, was aware of these activities,” Volodin said.

According to Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Major General Igor Konashenkov, on February 24, information was received from employees of these Ukrainian biological laboratories about the emergency destruction of particularly dangerous pathogens, including plague, anthrax, tularemia and cholera.

The head of the Russian Armed Forces’ radiological, chemical and biological protection forces, Lt. Gen. Igor Kirillov, reported Thursday that Hunter Biden’s Rosemont Seneca Thornton investment fund and the Soros Foundation are involved in funding biolabs in Ukraine.

As he said, “the scale of the program is impressive” because in addition to the Department of Defense, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention are directly involved.

He assured that 30 Ukrainian laboratories in 14 settlements in the country were engaged in large-scale biological-military activities. “All of these activities are conducted under the full control of the Pentagon,” he said.

In his statement, he warned that the transmission of pathogenic biomaterials from Ukraine to European countries could lead to the death of people and the creation of a hotbed of epidemiological instability, the magnitude of which will be comparable to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Kirillov emphasized that the revealed documents show a scheme of sending biomaterials abroad from the territory of Ukraine, through which more than 16,000 biological samples were exported.
