Former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo has made it his goal to do a good job of hiding in the 11 months since he was forced out of office.
But there are finally signs he’s back on the social scene as he was hanging out with his best pal Billy Joel at the singer’s $23 million Hamptons home over the holiday weekend.
snapped a photo of Cuomo, 64, in a white button-down shirt standing on the deck of 73-year-old Joel’s beach house. He could be seen chatting with the singer’s wife, the Piano Man, and his wife Alexis, who were celebrating their seventh wedding anniversary.
The couple have been friends for years. Cuomo is the godfather to Joel’s two daughters with fourth wife Alexis, 41, and even officiated at their wedding on July 4, 2015.
The ex-governor was also spotted at a fireworks event organized by developer Andrew Fargus in the Long Island hotspot, where he was spending the weekend with his family.

Cuomo has been little seen in public since he left office last August following allegations of sexual harassment. He moved out of the Executive Mansion in Albany and has kept a low profile ever since.
Cuomo has previously gushed about his relationship with Joel.
“He’s a good friend to me. And we have a lot of fun together,” Cuomo told Democrat & Chronicle in 2015. “We fish together. We ride motorcycles together and we’re just friends together. And you know I’m a Queens boy. He’s a boy from Nassau, Hicksville, but we grew up in very much the same neighborhood.
Cuomo has been slowly re-emerging on the social scene since he came under fire last year.
On several occasions he is said to have had dinner with New York City Mayor Eric Adams.
But he has only been photographed a few times since leaving the Albany Governor’s House in March, when he was greeted with a heroic reception at a speech in the Bronx, where he railed against members of his own party and the abandonment culture he felt was responsible for his downfall responsible.
He received thunderous applause from the crowd, especially after speaking out against New York’s bail reform laws. He was followed by officers and police officers who wanted to hug him and pose for selfies.

In his speech, Cuomo railed against the abortion culture — what he called the “social death penalty” that affected both him and his brother — and the extremist factions of both the Democratic and Republican parties.
He even went so far as to say, ‘Quit the abandonment culture!’
He also gave a speech at Buffalo’s True Bethel Baptist Church after a white man opened fire at a mostly black supermarket in the city in May, killing ten people.
He compared the massacre to lynchings by the Ku Klux Klan.
Cuomo posted two photos of himself in a boat to his Instagram account last September – but those were the only other pictures of him since leaving office.
Cuomo was the subject of a steady barrage of complaints for the first half of last year as women complained that he had sexually harassed them. He has always denied the allegations.
He doggedly clung to power until August, when Attorney General Letitia James concluded a five-month investigation that found he had molested 11 different women.
President Joe Biden immediately called for his resignation and announced his resignation within a week. Two weeks later, he resigned and was replaced by Lieutenant Governor Kathy Hochul.
In November, his brother Chris, 51, was suspended from his post as CNN anchor for helping Andrew formulate his responses to the molestation allegations. Chris was eventually fired the following month.
