Armie Hammer – hotel porter?
Not quite.
Earlier this week, a viral tweet flooded the social media platform claiming the disgraced actor, 35, worked part-time as a concierge for a Cayman Islands resort.
The tweet – which appears to have since been deleted – was posted by a user Muna swampa producer of the Showtime comedy Desus & Mero.
Mire shared a fake flyer showing the Death on the Nile star at work at Morritt’s Resort.
“My boyfriend’s parents were vacationing in the Cayman Islands and Armie Hammer was their concierge,” the Twitter post read.
However, according to Variety, Hammer’s attorney, Andrew Brettler, and an anonymous hotel worker indicated that the post was actually fake. The clerk, a 12-year-old clerk, said he sent the brochure to a few rooms as a prank.

The Photoshopped brochure states, “I’m your personal concierge and I’m here to help you get the most out of your vacation.”

The newspaper also mentioned several available discount coupons – even suggesting that Hammer, who frequently visits the tropical islands, can arrange trips for guests that include “swimming with wild turtles,” snorkeling and diving excursions, “reasonable bioluminescent prices,” and fishing trips.”

Some staffers who reportedly play golf with the “social network” actor – who grew up in the Cayman Islands – appeared to have created the flyer as a hoax. The confessed worker, dubbed “Chipper” by Variety, said the stunt drew a lot of attention and claims he got a lot of calls about it, adding that he “could only dream of that kind of publicity.”
However, there was no word on how the resort felt about the prank.
Hammer, reportedly a guest at the hotel, hit a bumpy road last year when he was accused of sexual assault and cannibalism. He has denied all claims against him.
The ‘Call Me By Your Name’ actor has been fired from Jennifer Lopez’s ‘Shotgun Wedding’ and Paramount+ TV series ‘The Offer.’
He was also dropped from his talent agency, WME, and his publicist following the controversy.
