On several occasions, the passion for FBC Melgar is forged and lived in the family over many years. Such is the case of teenager Jossin Huayhua, who follows Domino in his triumphs and defeats. Last Wednesday, the boy was rewarded for his loyalty by goalkeeper Carlos Cáceda, who presented him with his professional gloves. The young fan visited the UNSA sports facility with his family.
The Arequipa team fan told La República that becoming a professional goalkeeper is his dream and that he is dying to be part of the FBC Melgar hotbed. Jossin mentioned that he was training at a football academy before the pandemic but had to retire due to lack of funds. His parents could not afford the pension costs and he is currently only devoting himself to his studies.

“The experience was very nice, apart from the fact that Melgar won and Cáceda gave me the gloves. I would love to continue playing football but my family didn’t have any money during the pandemic. I’ve always liked the goalie position, since I was little I liked the adrenaline rush of jumping,” he commented to the outlet.

After the brilliant match of FBC Melgar for the South American, the teenager celebrated twice. And the fact is that during the 90 minutes he had goalkeeper Carlos Cáceda’s gloves in his hands. Before the duel, the athlete had presented him with this utensil, realizing that the boy had an emotional red and black placard. “Cáceda, give me your gloves,” said the box.
At that time, Cáceda went to the stands to throw the gloves at the young fan. As expected, Jossin was taken by surprise and the stands erupted in praise of the athlete. “Well, Cáceda,” said those present to applause.
