The Price Is Right invites fans to stop by.

In honor of the game show, which will celebrate its 50th anniversary later this fall, The Price Is Right is hosting Drew Carey announced The Price Is Right Come On Down Tour. The longest-running game show in TV history will be coming to fans in major cities across the United States starting Friday, March 25, with the first stop at the Santa Monica Pier in California.

Fans attending the one-day launch event can play Plinko, spin the wheel and compete in a showdown. In addition, people will also win awards supporting local businesses “deeply connected” to the original September 1972 premiere date. Following The Price Is Right, fans will enjoy a day of game play on the beach with a lighted Ferris wheel on the Santa Monica Pier, and viewers will have a chance to win a $50,000 grand prize. According to the show’s website, fans who are at least 18 years old can enter the sweepstakes once from March 25 through May 27. A winner’s name will be drawn on May 30th.

When fans heard the happy news, they couldn’t contain their excitement. “What?! What!! WHAT!!!!! 😍😍😍😍😍😍🀩🀩🀩🀩,” one person wrote on Instagram. “OMG I literally HAVE to go if you come to DENVER πŸ™ŒπŸ™ŒπŸ»πŸ™πŸΌπŸ™ πŸΌπŸ™πŸΌ,” added another. “See you in Drew’s hometown!! Although the tour will consist of 50 stops at “America’s Most Iconic Places,” there will only be a handful of locations for fans to attend. It is important to note that proof of COVID-19 vaccination is required at the door and must be on hand prior to entering events. So far we know that the tour will stop in:

While we don’t know if Drew will be attending all of the tour stops, he has previously expressed how close he holds the show and the fans to his heart. As viewers may know, the actor and comedian has been named to succeed the longtime host Bob Barker in 2007.

“Moderating the award is right has been a dream job for me,” Drew told Deadline in August 2021. “I really never thought that my safe place would be on a soundstage, carrying a microphone at all times, cameras trained on me, and with millions of people watching. But that’s what The Price Is Right is to me. I love it.”
