Miley Cyrus branded her marriage to Liam Hemsworth a “fucking disaster” as she helped a couple get engaged during their performance at Lollapalooza Brazil.
The Midnight Sky hitmaker performed at the festival in Sao Paulo on Saturday night and brought a gay couple on stage for the proposal.
After congratulating the couple, she remarked, “Honey I hope your marriage is going better than mine, mine was a freaking disaster.”

The 29-year-old pop icon, who also announced her new live album Attention: Miley Live, is said to be 1 year after they tied the knot.
Miley had previously admitted that she had “too much conflict” in her marriage, claiming, “There was too much conflict … When I come home I want someone to anchor me.” “I’m not into drama or fights.”
The Prisoner singer became engaged to Liam in May 2012, but they split in September 2013 before reuniting in 2016. The couple married in December 2018 and their divorce was finalized in January 2020.

The star admitted she didn’t know if she and the 32-year-old actor would have tied the knot if their Malibu home hadn’t been destroyed by fire in 2018.
‘We’ve been together since we were 16. ‘Our house burned down.’
“We were like engaged. I don’t know if we really ever thought about actually getting married but when we lost our house in Malibu which if you hear my voice before and after the fire is very different so really trauma impacts my voice.’

The Wrecking Ball artists said she was in South Africa at the time she lost her home and could not return immediately. “For example, my animals were tied to a post on the beach. I lost everything. I had so much and it was all gone, every song I had ever written was in this house. Every photo of me that my parents gave me, all my scripts, I lost everything.”
“And when I was trying to put that back together, instead of being like, ‘Oh, nature kind of did something I couldn’t do for myself; it forced me to let go. I ran to the fire.
“Which is not abnormal, many animals do this and end up dying, like deer running into the forest. The FU singer added, “You’re attracted to this heat and I’m an intense person and I don’t want to sit with it and I don’t want to walk, you know,” What could be purposeful about that? I just clung to what was left of this house that was me and him.’
