It’s no secret that Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson’s relationship has been strained by his scandals over the years. However, it looks like Khloé still manages to take the main road when it comes to her ex’s actions.

In case you weren’t in the loop, it’s been a pretty wild year for Khloé.

Last December, the on-and-off duo finally called it quits after Tristan was forced to open up about a third cheating scandal and later admitted he had fathered a child with another woman while he and Khloé were still together.

When Khloé first opened up about the paternity drama in depth during the season finale of The Kardashians last month, she reflected on Tristan’s infidelities and admitted she’d become almost “immune” to his behavior.

“I just don’t feel real in my own body. Those things just happen and I’m just going through the motions,” she said on the show. “If things happen to you a few times, you kind of become immune to them.”

Seeing how hurt she was afterwards, many fans quickly assumed the latest scandal would mark the final nail in the duo’s coffin. However, the internet was left in complete shock last week after reports emerged claiming that Khloé and Tristan are expecting their second child together via surrogate.

A Khloé rep confirmed the exes – who already share 4-year-old daughter True – will welcome a new addition in the coming weeks and that the baby was conceived in November – about a month before Tristan was exposed to the paternity scandal.

“We can confirm that True will have a sibling who was conceived in November,” Khloé’s rep told People last Wednesday. “Khloé is incredibly grateful to the extraordinary surrogate for such a beautiful blessing.”

The rep clarified the current status of Khloé and Tristan’s romantic relationship, also clarifying that the exes are definitely “not back together” and that they “haven’t spoken about common parenting matters since December.”

Multiple outlets have claimed that the new baby – who is rumored to be a boy – is due any day, with TMZ even speculating it may already be born.

Despite the swirling reports, neither Khloé nor Tristan have spoken publicly about the news yet. However, Khloé broke her silence on Instagram yesterday and made it abundantly clear that her mindset is centered on motherhood with a sweet tribute to her daughter.

“Me and my best girl make the best memories,” she wrote alongside a series of photos of herself and True soaking up the sun on a recent vacation to celebrate her 38th birthday. “I will always have your back my angel girl.”

And while Khloé seems to be keeping a low profile, focusing on mother life in preparation for her new arrival, it looks like Tristan took a very different approach.

Footage obtained by TMZ last week showed the NBA player living at a club on the island of Mykonos in the early hours of Friday morning. He appeared to be accompanied by a large group of friends, including several women.

Then, just days later, additional video footage showed Tristan leaving the same club – this time walking hand-in-hand with a mystery woman.

Of course, as a single man, Tristan has every right to explore new romantic relationships. However, with the birth of his and Khloé’s second child “imminent,” fans can’t help but think the basketball star would be better off back home in LA.

However, Khloé now appears to have subtly weighed in on the debate, giving fans their take on the chaotic situation.

On Tuesday, shortly after she returned to social media, some of Khloé’s keen followers noted that she’d liked a post in defense of her ex.

An account called @kardashiansocial uploaded the clip of Tristan with the mystery woman, encouraging fans to stop hating.

“For anyone freaking out about this video of Tristan in Greece with another girl, Khloe and Tristan are both single and according to Khloe’s rep, they haven’t spoken to each other since December other than being parents together,” the post began.

“So I don’t know why it would be crazy for Tristan to be with another girl as long as he’s a good father to his baby that we don’t know when Khloe’s surrogate is due,” they added.

Khloé clearly agreed with the sentiment and expressed her subtle stamp of approval and liking the post, perhaps confirming that things are amicable between them despite the questionable timing of Tristan’s Greek vacation.

And with recent reports claiming that Khloé is currently dating a private equity investor she met through her older sister Kim, it’s no surprise to see that she would be unimpressed by her ex’s love life.
