Gemma Owen’s mum Louise has slammed Luca Bish and Dami Hope’s behavior towards Tasha Ghouri on Love Island, saying it was “close to bullying”.
Luca and Dami have received harsh criticism from viewers for the way they have been treating Tasha over the past few days and Luca’s family members have now said they are “heartbroken” over the horrible comments they have received about him are.
Gemma and Luca are a couple, but that didn’t stop her mom from defending Tasha from the boys.
Speaking of which, Gemma Owen’s mother Louise has slammed Luca Bish and Dami Hope’s behavior towards Tasha Ghouri on Love Island, saying it was ‘close to bullying’.
Commenting on an Instagram clip of the moment Tasha asked Andrew Le Page to be her boyfriend, Louise wrote: “Hope Tasha is ok I feel it’s getting close to bullying now which is so sad. ”
Noting that Louise is Gemma’s mom, some users were quick to question if her comment means she doesn’t approve of her daughter’s relationship.
One said: “Did you disagree with Luca?” while another said: “So happy to see Gemma supporting Tash there”.
Luca’s sister has been running his Instagram account while he was at the villa and has taken to their stories to reveal his family has been heartbroken by the comments made about him.

His sister replied: “First of all, thank you for the many people who have asked this. To be perfectly honest, not nearly okay. It’s really, really hard.
“How would you feel if people had to constantly pray for death for the people you love more than anything in the world? We feel broken.
“I’m not stupid, I understand that people will always have their opinions and no one can take that away from them, but if you saw HALF the messages we received everyone would be disgusted.”

It comes after fans accused the couple of “bullying” the blonde beauty, with tensions boiling over during the “Snog, Marry, Pie” challenge.
Tasha was visually upset after both boys shoved cream pies in her face during the allegedly lighthearted game, with other islanders later agreeing things went “too far”.
Forced to give reasons as to why they decided to page her, Dami claimed the bikini beauty “rides Andrew’s coattails”.
Viewers rushed to Twitter to accuse the two men of hooking up with Tasha, writing, “Dami and Luca are real bullies.”

Later in the show, two men apologized to Tasha and Brighton-based fishmonger Luca admitted he was “out of line”.
He said: “I feel really bad for what I said right now and I’m sorry.” said Luke.

One said bosses stepped in to avoid a “bullying scandal,” writing, “Producers told Dami and Luca they needed to change the narrative FAST.”
While another added: “Those apologies from Dani and Luca, definitely the producers” [sic].
And the third commented: “Dami and Luca only apologized to Tasha because the producers told them”.
While the fourth said: “Luca isn’t sorry, he’s just aware that it makes him look like a bully.”
And a fifth agreed: “Well I’m sure you know from the last episode that the producers asked Dami and Luca to apologize.”
And a sixth added: “Convinced Love Island producers told Luca and Dami to apologize to Tasha.”

It comes after Luca’s family took to Instagram Stories on his account on Monday to say they do not condone his behavior towards Gemma.
Fans had urged Gemma to end her relationship with the fishmonger after he lashed out at her for “flirting” with Billy Brown on Sunday night’s show.
And his family have said that while he would feel “embarrassed” for his actions and will no doubt apologize, he does not deserve the abuse he has endured.
They say his demeanor doesn’t reflect the boy they “know and love back home,” but note his Love Island experience is intense.

“We as his family have no last condolences to his behavior but we understand he is in an intense environment where his actions are amplified. Last night didn’t reflect the boy we all know and love at home.
“Please note that death threats and nasty comments are totally over the top and something we as a family do not have to ensure, for this reason we have disabled comments and messaging.
“For everyone who has messaged us, we want to say a big thank you and see you.”
Luca seethed after seeing Gemma chatting up Billy during Casa Amor, leading him to question the strength of their relationship.
