Dozens of complaints to the police and an organization that distances itself from it: the broadcast of a live video from the “Steamer of the flight to Tulum”, a bottle of vodka in hand while driving, puts the young woman in high spirits water.

Vanessa Sicotte was talked about again on Wednesday for the wrong reasons. She filmed herself live on Instagram in what appeared to be a drunken drive, which caused an uproar on social media.
In a video released a second hour later, Vanessa Sicotte claimed that it was a staging whose purpose was to tackle disability driving and that she had previously made an agreement with the Sûreté du Québec.

“We had to alert the police so that if there were ever any calls, they wouldn’t start an investigation in vain. Even the SQ media team knew about it,” she told her subscribers.
However, the police, for their part, deny having had a conversation with the influencer on this topic.
“Regarding SQ communications, after several checks, we are not aware of such a situation,” says Lieutenant Benoit Richard.

complaints
In the video posted around midnight Tuesday night, Vanessa Sicotte was drinking from a bottle of Absolut Vodka while behind the wheel, live on Instagram.
The video ended with a chorus of screams from several passengers, possibly indicative of an accident.
In connection with the publication of the live video, dozens of complaints have now been received by the SQ.
“A proceeding is ongoing regarding the video, but we cannot confirm anyone has been arrested for disability,” spokeswoman Catherine Bernard confirmed later today.

Donations that don’t happen
In her justification video released Wednesday afternoon, Ms Sicotte says she will donate a portion of the funds raised by the release of a future drinking and driving awareness clip to Point Final, a drinking and driving awareness organisation.
However, she had made no agreement with the upstream management.
“We don’t want his money […] We don’t want to be associated with a girl like that,” said the organization’s President and CEO Kim Miller when the Journal broke the news to her.
Known for her social media antics, Sicotte made international headlines with a photo of herself illegally smoking an e-cigarette on a private Sunwing flight to Tulum in December 2021.
