It’s undoubtedly a time for family celebrations, as Chrissy recently celebrated a year of drinking after experiencing “hiccups” on her journey to sobriety.
The 36-year-old influencer – who has 52.6million social media followers – snapped a screenshot of a sobriety app titled “Finally LOL!” on Monday, which read 365 days.
“Not a drop of alcohol in 365 days! I miss feeling crazy and carefree at times, but to be honest there wasn’t a funny feeling towards the end anyway,” she wrote.
Congratulations! It’s undoubtedly a time for family celebrations, as Chrissy recently celebrated a year of drinking after experiencing “hiccups” on her journey to sobriety (pictured Saturday).

“I drank to end the insane anxiety, which later mostly went away when I — understand — stopped drinking! sigh. anyway I feel very good. Sometimes I get really frustrated when I think back to days I should remember a lot better than because of alcohol. Like when I drank Café Patron and fell asleep while an Outback Steakhouse chef was teaching me (my friends) how to cook a flowering onion at my house. I wish I was awake for this. I wish I could actually remember an awards show lol.
“There are images of big moments in life where my eyes just look… gone. Some are from real work shots, some are just from family beach days. While I honestly don’t know YET if I’ll ever drink again, I do know that I never want to be like that again. And right now, none is best. I let the bad dreams come up and try to clear them up in therapy, without alcohol. Prayers for a thriving onion redo, @outback?’
Chrissy’s alcohol-free journey originally began in December 2020 while reading Holly Whitaker’s 2019 book Quit Like a Woman after she was “done making an ass of me in front of people.”

“Other than being pregnant, I wasn’t gone more than a day or two [without a drink], since I started drinking when I was 20 or so. I just never really had that clear-thinking time,” Teigen said.
“It was just starting to get awkward, like awards shows and stuff. And everyone remembers it because it’s funny and cute, right? That you fell asleep at the Oscars or something. It got awkward and obvious with someone like [my husband John Legend].
“It’s hard to be with someone who is so respected and so loved and loved. I can’t be the messy one. Waking up in the morning and saying, “Oh, what did I say?” It was so embarrassing. It’s not worth this feeling. Not to mention the headaches and all.’
