The unveiling of the costumes comes after it was announced that Peter Crouch has joined the judging panel for season two of The Masked Dancer.

The 41-year-old said he “saw the chance to be a part of it” and admitted he’s a huge fan of the show.

He will fill in for Mo Gilligan, who was a judge on the first series, as he joins the panel alongside Jonathan Ross, Davina McCall and Oti Mabuse.

Mo is still a fixture on the series, he will miss most of the series due to work commitments in the US and Peter will be keeping his seat warm.

In the show, 12 celebrities compete in an outstanding dance performance while their identities remain hidden behind elaborate costumes.

Admitting he is already a fan of the show, Peter said: “The show is a firm favorite in our household and when asked I jumped at the chance to be a part of it. I’m competitive and I’m just scrolling through my friends’ social media looking for those telltale dance moves.

To show he’s okay with his replacement, Mo described Peter as “one of the nicest guys in the business” and said he was the “perfect replacement”.

“I love being part of the Masked team so I’m disappointed to be missing most of the series this year as I will be working in the US.

Peter already has a foot in the door in the world of dancing, being known for his famous robot dance on the soccer field.

Joel Dommett will also return to present the show and welcomed Peter with open arms as he said: “We’re losing Mo for a few episodes – but we’ve got Peter ‘the Robot’ Crouch to fill in his much smaller shoes. I’m very excited as I’ve always looked up to him throughout his career and because he’s massive.’
