Québec Solidaire spokeswoman Manon Massé announced in a message published on Twitter Monday that she has COVID-19.

“So far I’ve been very lucky, but it’s my turn to have the COVID,” wrote Manon Massé. Don’t worry too much, I’ll take some rest over the next few days to heal and get back to you healthy! Watch after.”

Separately, on Monday the government announced 1,224 new cases of COVID-19 out of four new deaths in the past 24 hours. The number of healthcare workers absent from work for reasons related to COVID-19 stands at 6,418.
According to the latest data, there would be 2,088 COVID-19-related hospital admissions, including 54 in intensive care. Hospital data is only updated Tuesday through Saturday.
