The FAO believes the shortage may hit Latin America due to the war in Ukraine

This Monday, March 28th, the 37th regional conference of the FAO, the UN food authority, will open in Quito. The organization has said it “doesn’t rule out a food crisis” in Latin America and the Caribbean as a result of the war in Ukraine. One of the countries of greatest concern is Haiti, where hunger has already worsened in recent years.
