Years ago, Jordan Peele tweeted a reference to a wild “no” conspiracy

An old tweet from Nope director Jordan Peele has resurfaced, and many fans believe it inspired his new horror film.

“I dreamed that a baby chimpanzee attacked some people, then ran to me and hugged me, very scared,” said the Oscar winner written in 2014.

“I woke up with tears streaming down my face #bruh,” the 43-year-old continued.

The statement is eerily similar to what happened to the younger version of Steven Yeun’s character in a scene from Peele’s new film Nope.

Other users began replying to Peele’s old tweet, noting that the social media post may have been the origin story of the alien thriller.

“Turn this dream into a movie 🎥,” said one fan recently answered.

Another joking recommended: “Oh wow, that sounds scary, you should write a script about that.”

“You should make a movie about this,” someone added.

“Nope” has grossed more than $44 million at the box office since its July 22 debut.

Peele recently told Uproxx that Nope is the first sci-fi film with a largely black cast.

“That happened,” said the “MadTV” graduate. “And I think the result of that is something that I think even surprised me. You have this nightmare or this vision and then you bring this team together.”

“And you start the cooperation with full force, and the product is even a bit of a surprise for me in the end if it works well. And this time it’s like that,” he said.

Knots Landing icon Donna Mills appeared in the horror flick, surprising many viewers. The 81-year-old TV star recently spoke to The Post about keeping her role as Bonnie Clayton under wraps for a long time.

“I had signed an NDA and I couldn’t tell anyone [about it]’ Mills said. “I mean, I literally couldn’t tell my daughter. It was difficult because everyone wanted to know, ‘What is it really about?’ People asked and I said, ‘I’m really sorry, but no!’ ”

She landed the role by doing a self-tape audition in which she performed a scene from the 2013 Cate Blanchett film Blue Jasmine.

“I said, ‘Oh God, they made a mistake!’ My agent called and they said, ‘No, that’s the scene he wants her to do.’ He doesn’t send anyone the script until they’re hired to do the film, and then they have to sign a big non-disclosure agreement,” Mills continued.

Peele was impressed with the performances of the “General Hospital” star. “He said, ‘Oh my god, that was the best audition! I’ll send you the script. If you like it, it’s yours.” I was like, ‘If I like it? I think I’ll like it,'” she said.
