Radio host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson reveals why Australian supermodel Megan Gale once turned down R&B superstar Usher: ‘She turned him off’
R&B superstar Usher has a well-deserved reputation as a womanizer.
But according to Australian radio host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson, the Burn singer was rejected by several women during a previous trip Down Under.
Among those women was Australian supermodel Megan Gale, who was dating comedian Andy Lee at the time.

“I’ve seen him get turned down by several women like Megan. That’s when she was with Andy Lee,’ Jackie said.
“He walked up to Megan as she was standing next to Andy and I saw her shake her head and shut it off,” she continued.
Jackie’s co-host Kyle Sandilands explained that Usher was crouched on a balcony at the club and that his entourage reached out to models and other glamorous women to see if they were interested in meeting him.
“You were the one he left out,” Kyle joked to Jackie.
“I’ve seen him get turned down by several women like Megan. That was when she was dating Andy Lee,” Jackie (pictured) said on the air Thursday
Megan and Andy were one of Australia’s most popular celebrity couples before ending their relationship in late 2010.
However, Megan has since said the breakup “stained” her image, as the public hit out at her for moving on with AFL player Shaun Hampson shortly after splitting from the popular comedian.
“It was very humiliating. I understand how it happens, I don’t like it, I don’t accept it. It was really challenging to navigate for a while,” she told Mamamia in 2020.
“It wasn’t a good time. It almost felt like I had done something wrong and I was clouded over like I had done something wrong. When I was there [Andy]everyone loved us together.’

The former David Jones ambassador explained the couple had been dealing with their issues privately, so by the time everyone found out about the split it was “old news”.
“We went through what we went through privately for quite a while. When people found out we were broken up, I think it came as a bit of a shock and I seemed to have moved on relatively quickly,” she said.
Megan began dating Shaun, who is 12 years her junior, in January 2011.
Their relationship is strong, the couple are now engaged and parents to two children, son River, five, and daughter Rosie, two.
