Heartbroken Jess Impiazzi reveals her beloved father Colin has died aged 70 after a battle with lung cancer

Jess Impiazzi has announced that her beloved father Colin has died at the age of 70 after a long battle with lung cancer and other complications.

The 32-year-old reality TV star shared a series of sweet pictures of her father on Instagram after he sadly passed away on Wednesday night.

She wrote: “Sadly my father Colin passed away last night after a year with end stage lung cancer and other complications.

“My dad was a fighter and endured for so long. I will take this fighting spirit with me into my future!

“I was able to hold his hand to the end and that meant the world to me. rest in peace dad I love you very much ❤️❤️.’

Jess, who is in a relationship with footballer Jermaine Pennant, announced last year that her father received end-of-life foster care when he turned 70.

She said:

She wrote at the time: “Trotting the odds! My father is in end-of-life care with lung cancer, vascular dementia, Alzheimer’s and a cardiac aneurysm.

“But today he turned 70 and we will celebrate that. Happy birthday Pop.”

Also, Ex On The Beach star Jess became her mother’s primary caregiver when she went blind.

Debbie was diagnosed with Uveal Effusion Syndrome, a rare degenerative eye disease that caused her to lose her sight while Jess was growing up.

In 2018, Jess opened up about her tough life as a teenager during an interview on Loose Women.

She said at the time: “I saw a bit of violence growing up. That was so.

“Then I came to the Italia Conti Theater School. I got a scholarship to college in 2006 and it was the best day of my life.”

However, on the same day she was caring for her nephew, who was 13 months old when he died after contracting meningitis and blood poisoning.

A few months later Debbie went blind.
