Former Kremlin chief Dmitry Medvedev posted a map on Telegram in which large parts of Ukraine are already shown in Russian.
In the information and propaganda war, Moscow is once again relying on a benevolent portrayal of events. The deputy head of the Security Council and former president of Russia, Dmitry Medvedev, published a not entirely accurate map of Europe on Telegram, in which Ukraine is divided among other countries, as Ukrainska Pravda reports.
It’s not clear why other countries are getting bigger
Only the Kyiv region is marked as belonging to Ukraine on this map. According to Medvedev, the map was created by “Western analysts”, but he did not name them. According to the map, the cities of Vinnytsia and Chernivtsi would belong to Romania. Lviv, Ternopil and other cities would belong to Poland, the rest to Russia. At first glance, however, it is still unclear why Romania and Poland should also expand territorially.
The leader of pro-Russian separatists in the Donetsk region, Denis Pushilin, called on Wednesday for Russia to take most of Ukraine, including the capital Kyiv, as the country’s main cities are Russian.
