Serious faces, some young people in wheelchairs and others in bed: these are the first images to be broadcast on Russian television the soldiers who returned from the front in Ukraine.
The act, broadcast on Russian television, features soldiers, most of them maimed and seriously injured, and receiving medals and recognition from senior defense officials. This can be seen in the video that accompanies these lines.
They are received by a well-known singer of the country and the Russian Deputy Defense Minister Alexander Fominas well as other senior positions in this department.
“You are true men true warriorstrue heirs to the glorious wartime traditions of our fathers and grandfathers of Russia for all time,” says Russia’s Deputy Defense Minister. He also congratulates them on their fight in Ukraine: “They won and You have achieved 100% of the set goalsYou have done your duty and for that I commend you.”
However, only serious faces can be seen among the soldiers attending the tribute, some not even wanting to look at the medal pinned to the left side of their chest. And it’s like they take thanks after their surgery in the invasion, but sequels for life.
