Microsoft is releasing a new Windows 11 update, KB5013296. It targets PCs registered in the Insider Program’s DEV and BETA channels.
Within a few hours, Microsoft released several new updates. KB5013296 is a bit special. It is only offered as part of the Windows Insider Program. More specifically, it is an update for the current preview 22581 of Windows 11, which is currently offered through these two distribution channels.
The installation allows the operating system to evolve into version 22581.200. This build number is important. It makes sure everything went well. We can find it by launching “winver.exe” with “Run” (WIN+R).
