There was a whole load of incredibly stupid, incredibly ridiculous footage of the Will Smith slap in the face this week that really made my brains bleed out of my ears. But I finally found him, the most ridiculous of them all: On Tuesday afternoon, OJ Fucking “If I Did It” Simpson entered the chat.

Simpson, who was found responsible for the double murder of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her ex Ron Goldman in a civil trial after being acquitted at the criminal trial and later convicted of armed robbery and kidnapping. Posted a video on Twitterin which he said that Will Smith was “wrong” about beating Chris Rock at the Oscars but that he “understood the feeling” of wanting to beat a comedian.

“It was unfortunate,” Simpson said, claiming that everyone (but who?) asked him to comment on the issue. “I think Will was wrong. Look, I got the feeling. I’ve been through a lot of crap in my life and I’ve raised two young kids and every comedian in the country had an OJ routine and I don’t think I wouldn’t want to smack a few of those guys. …But it’s humor. I did not think [the joke] everything was so outrageous.”

Simpson, an obviously very violent man who his late ex-wife claimed “beat up” during their marriage, then for some reason decided to compare the situation to his 2008 conviction, for which he was 33 Years in prison and got out on probation.

“I know this: after what happened to me in Las Vegas, if I did that in front of a million people around the world, they would have given me a life without,” Simpson said. “I’m just saying’.”
