Packers three-round mock draft including two big trades, one with Jordan Love en route to the Seahawks.

You’ll either love or hate this Green Bay Packers three-round draft. In any case, this one is a lot of fun.

Pro Football Focus has updated their mock draft simulator to allow players to be included in trade offers. Well it was just too tempting to miss the opportunity to play Packers GM and see what I can do.

Using the simulator, this is the mock three-round draft I was able to put together for the Packers.

Round 1 (22): Devonte Wyatt, DL, Georgia

A dream start in the first round. If Georgia defenseman Devonte Wyatt is still on the board when the Packers hit the clock, it shouldn’t take Brian Gutekunst long to make his decision.

Green Bay bolstered its defensive line by signing free agent Jarran Reed earlier this offseason. Adding a potential future star like Wyatt could help take Joe Barry’s defense to the next level.

Wyatt is an incredible athlete with a RAS (Relative Athletic Score) of 9.56 out of 10.

NFL Network’s Daniel Jeremiah wrote that “Wyatt has tremendous potential and could turn out to be the best interior lineman in this class.”

Wyatt is both a strong running defender and capable of providing plenty of inside passing frenzy and would be a perfect complement for Pro Bowlers Kenny Clark, Reed and Dean Lowry along the Green Bay defensive line.

Wyatt would be an excellent choice when looking for a defensive player who could become an instant starter and make a huge difference to the Packers.
