She continued, “But I also loved the name Starr and the way Starr Amari sounded together, well it was perfect. And she is my miracle.”
The influencer welcomed her daughter on April 21, whom she has described as an unplanned “miracle baby.”
A few weeks later, Brynne’s mother, Mariel, flew to Melbourne from Arizona to meet her granddaughter.
“Her name was supposed to be Rain and I knew I wanted Amari as her middle name because that means miracle or promise of God,” Brynne said of little Starr (pictured).
“And that’s worth more than 30 hours of driving!” Mariel wrote on Instagram.
Brynne recently told New Idea that she decided to give her little girl the surname Gordon — her maiden name — so she would feel “connected” to her family in the US
The former fitness trainer had adopted the surname Edelsten when she married the late Geoffrey Edelsten in 2009.
She continued, “But I also loved the name Starr and the way Starr Amari sounded together, well it was perfect. And she’s my miracle,” said Brynne (pictured).
While she kept the name after her 2014 divorce, she didn’t see fit to pass it on to her daughter.
Edelsten died last June at the age of 78.
Starr’s father’s identity has not been released. However, Brynne confirmed to the publication that the man had met his daughter twice.
Brynne is still in the baby bubble with her daughter Starr
“I haven’t slept well since Starr arrived,” Brynne said of motherhood.
“But I wouldn’t trade being a mom for anything — I’m happier than I’ve ever been.”
The pregnancy was good news for Brynne, who discovered during her high-profile marriage to Geoffrey that she was unlikely ever to conceive naturally.
The American socialite welcomed her daughter on April 21, whom she has dubbed an unplanned “miracle baby.”
“I didn’t think I had a maternal instinct,” she told New Idea.
“Even during the pregnancy I couldn’t quite believe it was happening, but as soon as it arrived we bonded and it all felt very natural.”
Brynne announced in December last year that she was pregnant.
