Foreign Minister Antony Blinken spoke today with Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz about the killing of Palestinian reporter Shireen Abu Akleh in the West Bank and stressed the need to find those responsible. This is reported by the US Department of State.
A few days ago, the Secretary of State received the family of the al-Jazeera journalist, who also has American citizenship, in Washington after accusing the Biden administration of not doing enough to establish the truth. Blinken and Gantz would also discuss Iran’s common security threats.
