India, Mexico agree to strengthen bilateral cooperation | Messages

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of India, Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, and his Mexican counterpart, Marcelo Ebrard, met in New Delhi this Wednesday, where they agreed to strengthen cooperation between the two nations in the economic sector, particularly in health and technological.

According to Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, the meeting was cordial and productive, and they analyzed the exponential development of bilateral ties between the two countries in areas such as science, technology and space.

In another assignment, Foreign Ministers Subrahmanyam Jaishankar and Marcelo Ebrard examined cooperation in the United Nations Security Council, an organization to which they belong.

Likewise, the head of Mexico’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation with India: “The conversation was very cordial, bilateral relations, investments, cooperation on medicines and vaccines, the international order and multilateralism were discussed; we are on the way to a strategic and ever closer relationship”, he specified.

It should be noted that the Mexican nation ranks second as India’s largest trading partner in the Latin American region.
