Two people have rescued a missing person after the Osprey helicopter crashed off the coast of Virginia

BREAKING NEWS: A soldier is feared dead and two others are rescued after an Osprey plane crashed into the Atlantic off the coast of Virginia

Two soldiers were rescued after a V-22 Navy Osprey tilt rotor crashed off the coast of Virginia Wednesday night.

One person is said to be missing after the helicopter crash.

The plane crashed just after 7:30 p.m. Wednesday night just north of the Chincoteague Causeway near Wildcat Point near the Maryland line.

When the emergency call center made contact, two passengers left the plane with injuries.

The Virginia Coast Guard dispatched lifeboats and a rescue helicopter along with a Maryland police helicopter. The Ocean City dive team was also called to the scene.

A call went out on the 911 radio for everyone in the waters to keep an eye out for survivors, according to Shore Daily News.
