An intruder breaks into David and Victoria Beckham’s home

A masked intruder broke into the London home of Victoria and David Beckham in late February and stole thousands of pounds worth of belongings, The Sun reports.

According to the outlet, the burglar entered an upstairs bedroom of the couple’s Holland Park home while Victoria, 47, David, 46, and their 10-year-old daughter Harper were relaxing downstairs.

The burglary went unnoticed until Victoria and David’s 17-year-old son, Cruz, returned home from a night out to find broken glass in the ransacked room.

“Unfortunately, the Beckhams have been victims of some fairly professional thieves who have been operating in the area,” a source told The Sun. “Fortunately, the criminals only made it as far as one bedroom before they ran away.”

The insider added that the Beckhams – who also share sons Brooklyn, 23, and Romeo, 19 – were “devastated” by the incident, although no one was hurt.

“The security in the house is very good, both physical and technical,” explained the source.

“The thieves broke in through a window and shot straight out of it with a small number of objects. Luckily, none held much sentimental value to the family.”

London’s Metropolitan Police confirmed to The Sun that they are investigating the incident and said it was unclear if the bandit was operating alone or with accomplices.

“Police were called at 12.37am on Tuesday 1 March to reports of a break-in at a residential address in the W11 area of Kensington,” a spokesman said. “The burglary is said to have taken place between 8:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. on Monday, February 28.”

Representatives for the Beckhams did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
