Marilyn Manson is suing Evan Rachel Wood for slandering her on charges of sexual assault against him, which Manson said was a “malicious lie.”
In an appeal filed with the Los Angeles Supreme Court on Wednesday and received by DiversityManson – whose legal name is Brian Warner – claims that Wood and “her again, romantic partner” Ashley Gore “publicly broadcast” him as a “rapist and rapist – a malicious lie that derailed the successful music of Warner, television and film career.”
The file alleges that Wood and Gore posed as an FBI agent by falsifying and distributing a fictitious letter from the agent to create the false impression that Warner’s alleged “victims” and their families were in danger and that there was a federal criminal It also alleges that Wood and Gore “provided checklists and scenarios” to prosecutors and “made knowingly false statements,” including that Manson “filmed sexual assault on a minor.” Manson requested a lawsuit and He also alleges that he intentionally caused emotional stress, violated the Comprehensive Computer Data Fraud Act, and accessed and impersonated others on the Internet.

Wood was one of several women to make allegations of sexual assault against Manson early last year. In an Instagram post at the time, Wood wrote: “The name of my abuser is Brian Warner, also known to the world as Marilyn Manson. He started preparing me when I was a teenager and harassed me terribly for years. I was brainwashed and manipulated into obedience. I ended my life in fear of revenge, slander or extortion. I am here to expose this dangerous man and to summon the many industries that allowed him before he ruined more lives. I am with many victims who will no longer remain silent. “

Wood and Manson’s relationship became public in 2007, when she was 19 and he was 38. They were engaged in 2010, but separated later that year. After the allegations against Manson came out, he was rejected by his record label, manager and CAA, as well as a role in the show “American Gods”.
