Susana Vieira speaks out after being hospitalized to treat the aftermath of Covid19

Susana Vieira, 79, spoke out after being admitted to the Copa Star hospital in Copacabana, in southern Rio de Janeiro, to be treated for pulmonary consequences of Covid19. The actress stated that she was on medication cycle and will be released soon.

In a post on Instagram yesterday, Susana thanked fans and friends for their love and spoke about her health. “Stopping by to thank you for all the messages of affection and love you are sending… Thank you dears!!! I’m still doing the drug cycle and will be home soon, God willing!!! I love you!!!!” she said.

The actress was hospitalized last week. The information has been confirmed syringes from the press office of the actress.

“I’m doing well. The covid has left effects in the lungs and I had to do a cycle of intravenous medication so I am hospitalized. As I have leukemia, hospitalization in the intensive care unit is protocol. With medication and physical therapy, I’ll be home soon,” he said. Susana to the GShow.

According to the publication, she tested positive for Covid19 on July 12. The actress was diagnosed with a type of leukemia in 2015. In May, she remembered the diagnosis.

“I’ve never been scared, but I’m not really scared. I just asked, ‘When will I die? Am I going to go bald? Those were the two questions I asked,” she said.

The disease is now under control and it has not caused her to stop working. Susana emphasized that she would like to continue acting for a long time: “I never wanted to stop working, I never wanted to retire. Brazilians have a habit of wanting to retire at 60. I am 79 years old today, so what would I have done? Stay at home? I love watching TV,” he said.
