Before starting a family with now-wife Marlene Rodríguez, the “La Gloria de Dios” performer was married to Ana Rosa Vaz Pönicke. As a result of this relationship, which came about when he was just under 18 years old, his two became eldest sons: Alejandro and Hector.

The singer’s firstborn’s name is Alejandro, he was born shortly after the artist’s and Vaz’s wedding. First he devoted himself to his studies and completed it with a degree in business administration; however, his artistic heritage convinced him and he took off as a singer.
Ricardo Montaner’s eldest son debuted in music in 2001 with the record album Todo lo que Tengo; which spawned two singles, “I’m Going to Turn You Crazy” and “Dímelo,” which charted on Billboard’s Latin Songs chart.
Two years later he was nominated at the Premio Lo Nuestro as the best new pop artist of the year; Although his career was on the rise, he decided to step away from the stage and although he remains a music producer, he is concentrating on his work at Sony Music Latam where he is Vice President of Artists and Repertoires.
Alejandro Montaner is privately married to Ximena Datorre, with whom he has two children: Matías and Alejandro.
Hector Montaner
Evaluna’s second half-brother is called Héctor and is four years younger than Alejandro. He was born in 1981 and, like his father, is a composer.
Héctor not only has a great career in this music field, he is also a singer, one of his most famous songs is “Amor del Bueno” and he has even done some collaborations with groups like CNCO.
Like his brothers, he has a stable love life and in 2007 he married Paola Gaudelli with whom he had three children: Antonella, Alejandro and Salomé.
