All three contestants – Laura, Christopher and Thomas – struggled to solve the puzzle “Another feather in your hat.”
It took eight turns and 10 attempts to solve.
The contestant Laura made her first attempt to solve the puzzle, but received a short answer: “Another feather in your hat.”
A few turns later, Laura got another chance to decide – again with an unsuccessful answer: “Another feather in your lap.”
And after an incorrect guess from Christopher and “bankrupt” for Thomas, Laura got her last chance to win.
She turned the wheel and guessed the letter “P” to seemingly adjust to decide. But not so fast.
She was unsuccessful on her third attempt to decide with the phrase, “Another pen on your card.”
Thomas finally managed to solve the puzzle, but the game infuriated social media.
“I’d like to decide … one more feather in everything, buy a hat,” one man said.
“I am in complete distrust,” added another.
Pat Sajak referred to the already viral episode on Twitter: “Good-natured laughter is one thing. Hell, they laughed at themselves. But, hey, lose weight. Unless you’re there, you have no idea how different it is in the studio. “
Last night’s “Feather in the Hat” puzzle was an example of this. Sitting at home, it seems amazing that they can’t solve it, but I knew in real time what was going on.
