The Walking Dead has officially wrapped production and its star Norman Reedus shared warm words with the crew on Wednesday.

The 53-year-old actor spoke to the show’s crew after filming the final installments of the series and said “The Walking Dead Juice” was worth the “squeeze,” TMZ reported.

Reedus, who plays the show’s lead character Daryl Dixon, elicited tears and laughter from the show’s crew.

The Florida native expressed gratitude for the 12-year experience of working on the show as his colleagues hugged, still in costume.

Melissa McBride also showed affection when she hugged the show’s executive producer, Greg Nicotero.

As they said goodbye, Greg commented that he’d become a better person after meeting everyone during the 11-season run.

Sources told the publication that last night on set felt like “an endless party.”

Nicotero took to social media on Thursday and posted a 36-second clip with Norman as the two reflected on the AMC show’s end.

“Here we are,” the producer said, as Norm added, “Last day.”

’12 years, the EP said with a somber and calm expression.’

“I love you mate,” the show’s lead said as he looked at Greg. ‘Thank you for everything. It was a real pleasure.”

Nicotero asked, “Dude, remember when we were babies and we started this show and you had short hair? Do you remember?’

The actor replied: “I feel like my entire brain is short circuited right now. I can’t really imagine that.’

‘It is difficult. But in 12 hours the world will be a different place,” Greg explained, before the show’s star joked back, “Yeah, I’ll be laying on the bathroom floor with a martini and tears.”

Reedus also took to Instagram on Thursday to share a throwback video with his costar Melissa.

Delighting his 7.4million followers on the photo-sharing app, he wrote in the caption, “This is a wrap. 11 seasons 12 years.’

The clip showed the two actors side by side as they performed a short, playful jingle about their two characters on the TV show.

Both sporting short haircuts, they wrapped their arms around each other and sang: “Carol is sterile and Daryl is wild. A game made in hell!’

The caption continued, “I’ve never been so done and it was an absolute blast. Thank you to everyone who took this ride with us and what a ride it was.”

Just a few weeks ago, Norman suffered a concussion on the set of the horror drama series.

The performer shared the news about his health in an Instagram post with a picture of a black cat.

The actor wrote a quick note of thanks: “Thanks for the kind thoughts after a week. or two.’

Reedus confirmed that he was injured while working on the program’s set and that he would soon rejoin the cast

“I had an accident. But it will be better when I get free and will be back at work on Tuesday, they tell me,” he wrote at the time.

He also apologized for having to cancel a performance at the Fandemic Tour event due to his injury.

Norman wrote: “Sorry about the Atlanta event, I was looking forward to it. Most of all, thank you for the eye in the dark messages. I really loved this little cat.
