One scenario involves the film being fully drawn.
Warner Bros. is reportedly debating how to proceed with The Flash amid star Ezra Miller’s ongoing controversies.
According to , the studio is considering three possible options for the release of the DC film, which is currently slated for June 23, 2023, including an instance where the film is shelved altogether.

According to the insider, the first scenario would involve Miller seeking professional help, which the WB says could happen. They could then conduct an interview addressing their controversial behavior. “The Flash” could then be released, but Miller would have limited press participation.
If the studio chose the second strategy, the film could still open in theaters, but Miller would not be heavily involved in the film’s promotion. Additionally, Miller would not reprise her role as The Flash/Barry Allen in future projects due to the studio recasting the character. (Many fans have lobbied for Grant Gustin, who stars on the CW television series The Flash, to replace Miller in the film.)
Meanwhile, the third scenario would be the most shocking, as Warner would cancel the $200 million film and not release it at all. However, that would only happen if the problem surrounding Miller continued to worsen. THR called this an “unprecedented move” due to the film’s massive budget.
Though David Zaslav — the CEO of Warner’s parent company, Warner Bros. Discovery — only recently hailed “The Flash” as one of DC Comics’ “great” upcoming films, the film’s fate now seems uncertain amid Miller’s legal troubles.

Miller made headlines earlier this week after being charged with burglary at an unoccupied apartment in Vermont, TMZ reported Monday. According to the outlet, the “Fantastic Beasts” star was charged by Vermont state police with stealing bottles of alcohol from a home in Stamford in May.
This arrest is just the latest in a series of legal troubles that have plagued the DC Comics superhero over the past year.
In June, the parents of an 18-year-old woman named Tokata Iron Eyes claimed in a court filing that Miller had nursed their daughter for years. The two filed a lawsuit in Standing Rock Sioux Tribal Court, according to TMZ, seeking a restraining order for their daughter against Miller, who they say is “on the run” with her. However, Iron Eyes gave a different version of events.
Back in April, the Justice League star was arrested in Hawaii for second-degree assault after an alleged chair throw at a friend’s house after Miller was ordered to leave the house.
Miller was also arrested a month earlier after an incident at a bar in which they allegedly snatched the microphone from a woman singing karaoke and lunged at a man playing darts.
