The Scotti family, owners of luxury retailers in Montreal, are “devastated” after falling victim to violent crime Tuesday night for the third time since the beginning of the summer.

“I’m absolutely devastated, I don’t know what to say to you, I don’t understand,” John Scotti, whose family has been selling luxury cars for more than 40 years, told the Journal.

At least one projectile damaged a window of their car dealership on Metropolitan Boulevard East in the Saint-Laurent neighborhood on Tuesday.

Third time

“The police came to check the projectile and found the impact,” confirmed officer Jean-Pierre Brabant, spokesman for the Montreal Police Service (SPVM).

The authorities do not yet know where and when the shot was fired. The SPVM is making sure no one was hurt in this affair.

Remember, this is the third time the Scotti family has been a victim of violent crime since the beginning of the summer.

“Uninhabitable”

In fact, on August 1st, a projectile was lodged in a window of the John Scotti Luxury Prestige dealership in the Kirkland sector. Last June, vehicles owned by Mitsubishi dealer John Scotti were the target of an arson attack.

“I hope the police get their hands on this file to stop it because it is uninhabitable,” Mr Scotti denounced Tuesday night hours after the third incident that targeted his family.
