House of the Dragon the prequel to Throne of Swords

House of the Dragon, the prequel to Throne of Swords on Sky and NowTv: everything you didn’t know

That’s what Game of Thrones fans are waiting for from 2019, the year in which the final episode of the final season of one of the most popular TV series of all time came out. It was May. And fans do not forget about the emotions of the last scenes, which they probably already saw in nostalgia.

It ended with a bang for the production, seen by over 13 million people (on TV only). While those directly involved, the viewers, have formulated different opinions. Some were left with a bit of bitterness at the way the last episode was conceived, while others loved the series so much they watched it again.

Now the turning point, a moment that the entire audience has been waiting for for years.
Here comes the continuation of the dream: Throne of Swords prequel spin-off House of the Dragon is out at 3am between Sunday 22nd and Monday 23rd August in Italy (trailer here).

Different days were given for the start of the series, namely Sunday 21 August for the USA and Monday 22 August for Italy. In reality, the episodes are loaded at the same time, the dates are simply different because the rules of the time zone also apply in the world of cinema. Having spoken of the “when”, the “where” must now be specified.

Airing exclusively on Sky, House of the Dragon is available to stream on Now in the original language with Italian subtitles.

We have to wait a few days for the Italian dubbed version, which will be launched exactly a week later, on Monday 29 August on the same channels.

The 10 episodes of the first (and for now only) season of House of the Dragon will air weekly through October 31.

The first episode is titled “The Dragon’s Heirs” and from here begins the narration of events that are more than 200 years old compared to the facts of the original series. We will go back in time and retrace the reign of the Targaryen house and the civil war that followed.
