PlayStation players will soon have access to a slew of new features starting in June. The Sony company announced on Tuesday March 29 the merger of these two services: PlayStation Plus and PlayStation Now. She is now offering a unique service offered in three options.
PlayStation introduced its for the first time Essential Formula, which offers the same services as the current PlayStation Plus subscription for the same price of 59.99 euros per year. Then comes the Formula “Extra”. This at the expense of 99.99 euros per yearoffers the same advantages as the first option, but also “a Catalog of around 400 of the best PS4 games and PS5“. These games are downloadable so can be accessed offline, unlike some PlayStation Now games which required a stable internet connection to stream.
At the price of 119.99 euros per yearthe last formula “Bonus”, has all the above advantages. It also offers “approx 340 additional games‘ including streamable PS3 games as well as PSP, PS2 and PS1 games. These can be downloaded or streamed. Thanks to this “Premium” option, players can do this play in streaming via their console, PS4 or PS5, but also on the PC. Finally it will be possible Tryouts for a limited time before you buy them.
Current PlayStation Plus subscribers will see their subscription upgrade to Essential. No details were added about the price of switching from one subscription to another. PlayStation Now subscribers will upgrade to the “Premium” plan.
A list of games that will be available upon release of the new service was presented in June. Subscribers to the “Extra” or “Premium” services can enjoy works such as: Death Stranding, God of War, Marvel’s Spider-Man, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Mortal Kombat 11 and Returnal for free.
