Nashville Predators’ Joakim Kemell will play for Finland’s elite league JYP next season, the Tennessee club announced on Monday.

The 18-year-old helped his home country win silver at the World Junior Hockey Championships, with the Finns losing 3-2 in overtime to Canada in Saturday’s final. During the tournament, he led his country with 12 points, including four goals.
Kemell, a first-round pick, 17th overall, in this year’s National League draft, completed his first professional campaign with the JYP in 2021-22. He had 15 goals and eight assists for 23 points in 39 games.
