Juarez City.- The singer Aída Cuevas announced through her social networks that she will not be present on August 25 at the concert scheduled for 8 p.m. in the Plaza de la Mexicanidad, as reported by the cultural billboard “Juarez Juangabrielísimo”.
“I am sorry to inform you that I will not be present at the commemorative and honoring events of the sixth anniversary of our admired Alberto Aguilera Valadez, my dear Juan Gabriel,” he began on his Facebook page published statement.
She explained that “I was kindly invited by the administration of the Mayor’s Office of Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua a few weeks ago and is still mentioned in the advertisement to this day, however, I will be present as part of the leading and distinguished cast of the above invitation and to date I have not received any message regarding the confirmation or logistics which unfortunately, due to time and commitment constraints, leads me to confirm that I will not be attending.
“The distinguished mayor, Mr. Cruz Pérez Cuéllar, was present and attentive at all times, but it seems that the US company that now manages Juan Gabriel’s rights did not have optimal coordination to not lend itself to interpretation I will let you know of any non-compliance on my part,” he wrote in the document.
That’s where she thanked the Aguilera Salas family for their consideration, pointing out that the fact that she’s not personally a part of this edition doesn’t stop her from commemorating the idol together.
So far, the community’s page continues with the release of the program of events, which will end on August 28.
