Russia loses battle at Techno House: Ukrainians scoff at soldier’s defeat at DOOR, while video of his unfortunate attempt to break into a building in Kherson goes viral
A Russian soldier shooting at the door of an electrical appliance store in Kherson withdrew with little to show from the clash.
Footage recorded in secret shows a Russian soldier shooting at the door of a store called Techno House in an attempt to break it.
The video shows the soldier firing several bullets, but the door held firm.
The soldier then pierced the broken glass with the butt of his rifle, killing the pieces in an apparent attempt to open the door with the handle from the inside.
The Russian soldier fired several rounds to try to make the door retreat
He then approached to see what had affected the rounds, but was disappointed
The soldier then shot the glass with his rifle, but eventually walked away, leaving the Techno House alone.
But after placing his pistol on the ground and trying to open the door with his hand, the Russian soldier gave up and walked away.
It is believed that a Ukrainian hiding from the Russian invasion and occupation of Kherson recorded the footage before it was published online.
Online users called the incident “The Battle of Techno House”.
The footage appeared before the confirmation that Kherson has becomes the first Ukrainian city to fall into the hands of the invading Russian forces.
Kyiv and Kharkiv, Ukraine’s two largest cities, remained under heavy bombardment overnight with missiles hitting civilian areas.
Chernigov in the northwest and Mariupol in the south also remain under Ukrainian control, although they are almost surrounded by Russian forces and heavy bombardment by Russian artillery.
