A few days ago, Eugenio Derbez announced details of his new film project dealing with the story of the student from Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Paloma Nayola, known as “Niña Jobs”.
But the actor, who refers to the town as a “town,” doesn’t say there aren’t any bright or cobbled streets, which bothered the populace of that community.
He said this new project is based on a true event, an inspirational story that he hopes will transform education in Mexico.
It’s the story of a girl who grew up in a small town in Matamoros and became number one in the country and even had a cover in an American magazine, The Next Steve Jobs.
He added that it was an interesting story.

After the actor’s comments, the reactions were immediate, some were happy that he was telling the story of the brilliant girl, but others also claimed that Matamoros is not a city.
Roberto Lee, a businessman in Matamoros and recently a community coordinator, went viral by posting a poster and text claiming Eugenio Derbez.
