An article by the Novosti agency explains the “road map” that would come into effect after the physical elimination of those opposed to the war. “Any compromise like NATOno, EUyes is impossible”
What does Moscow mean by denazification? Not only the total defeat of the Ukrainian opponents on the battlefield, but also a subsequent “cleansing” of all political and military state apparatuses, the reeducation of the population “for at least a generation”, the total cancellation of the name of Ukraine. The source is above suspicion because the worrying “road map” published on the website of the “Novosti” agency is strictly followed by Putin. The disturbing and brutal purge plan is detailed in a lengthy article, signed by columnist Timofey Sergeytsev, entitled What Russia Should Do With Ukraine, published at the same time the world was discovering the horrors of the massacres of civilians in Bucha .
Denazification is a proposal that the Kremlin considers indispensable, even if it has never been formulated in detail. “Denazification is necessary because a significant part of the people most likely the majority were dominated and attracted by the Nazi regime,” Novosti attacks. So the first goal is that “the Nazis who took up arms should be destroyed as far as possible on the battlefield”. It is worth remembering that on several occasions Putin has equated Zelenskyy and his government with the regular Ukrainian army, which is opposing the Russian invasion with battalions like Azov that refer to Nazi symbolism. All in the same cauldron. And that is why “in addition to the leaders, a significant part of the masses who are passive Nazis, accomplices of National Socialism” are also guilty.
So the purge action must be not only physical and military, but also encompass the sphere of culture and education, “which is achieved through the ideological repression (repression) of Nazi attitudes and a strict censorship: not only in the political, but also necessarily in the Culture and education sector ». And for the signer of the article it goes without saying that “denazification can only be carried out by the victor”. No international peacekeeping forces, no UN. This is a Russian internal settlement. And as will be made clear below , “that doesn’t work with a compromise, based on a formula like ‘Born no, EU yes'”.
A goal of this magnitude will not be achieved overnight: “The terms of denazification can by no means be less than one generation” since “the Nazification of Ukraine lasted more than 30 years, at least from 1989”. What do you mean? “The peculiarity of modern Nazified Ukraine lies in the amorphousness and ambivalence that allows Nazism to be camouflaged as a desire for ‘independence’ and a ‘European’ (Western, proAmerican) ‘path of development’.”
So how to proceed? “The name ‘Ukraine’ cannot be retained as the title of a fully denazified state entity in a liberated area,” but here Novosti leaves open the possibility that the liberated area does not include the entire present country, but only its eastern part. We would thus return to a period of the Cold War, with two Ukrainians modeled on the two Germanys. It remains that “unlike Georgia and the Baltic countries, for example, Ukraine, as history has shown, is impossible as a nation state and attempts to build one naturally lead to Nazism.” Therefore, “the denazification of Ukraine is also its inevitable deEuropeanization.”
In peacetime, denazification should go in the following directions: “Liquidation of the armed Nazi organizations… Formation of public selfgovernment bodies and militias… Establishment of the Russian information space… Withdrawal of teaching materials and ban of educational programs at all levels that contain Nazi ideological guidelines … Publication of the names of the Nazi regime’s accomplices, their involvement in forced labor to restore infrastructure … Creation of permanent denazification bodies for a period of 25 years ». Full blown brainwashing.
Closing remarks: “In order to put Ukraine’s denazification plan into action, Russia itself must finally shed proEuropean and proWestern illusions to materialize as a last resort to protect and preserve the values of historical Europe.” In short , the message applies not only to the Ukrainians under the bombs.
