Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind – the new roller coaster coming to Walt Disney World’s Epcot – is dropping a funky new trailer.
Disney has released a new trailer for the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind roller coaster, coming to Walt Disney World’s Epcot.
The trailer shows the Nova Corp entering a distress signal, which is intercepted by Peter Quill/Star-Lord, Rocket Raccoon, and Groot. The team then heads to Epcot to save the galaxy from the looming threat.

Announced in 2017, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is a new rollercoaster attraction launching at Epcot in May. The ride features Disney’s first-ever reverse launch and remains one of the largest enclosed roller coasters to date. Disney’s official description for the ride is below:
As part of the EPCOT transformation, buckle up, put on your game face, and crank up your mixtape as you twist, turn, and shoot through a fantastical intergalactic chase. Welcome to Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind! A giant family roller coaster only possible at EPCOT, where the Guardians of the Galaxy need YOU to save humanity on an amazing journey through space and time. Get ready to rewind, spin and engage in the action through a thrilling space chase. This cosmic journey will be one of the largest fully enclosed roller coasters in the world, featuring the first reverse launch on a Disney coaster!

On the Marvel Cinematic Universe side, fans are awaiting the release of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, which will be positioned as the final film in the MCU subfranchise. “It’s our third film, we’re going to finish it,” Drax actor Dave Bautista said recently. “And it’s been one hell of a journey with a few bumps. So I’m looking forward to it man. My cast and of course the director James Gunn, they are like family to me The journey has begun. It comes full circle and I look forward to completing it. And it’s bittersweet. I mean, I’ve been doing Guardians since 2013. And, you know, when that comes out, it’s going to be 2023, so that’s a 10-year journey. You know all things must end. And, you know, I’m looking forward to finishing this with my friends and family.
