The only Latin American company flying to Oceania, LATAM, will now offer daily direct flights to the other side of the world.
Before the pandemic, the company operated two flights to Australia and one to New Zealand, the only service to Oceania operated by a Latin American company. However, with Covid19, these routes were canceled and only resumed in March this year on the Santiago de Chile Auckland Sydney Auckland Santiago route, currently the longest route in Latam.
According to the company’s reservation system, this flight, which operates five times a week, will now will operate on six frequencies on October 1st and have daily flights on December 5th.
The route remains the same and will be operated in the same way by the Boeing 7879 Dreamliner, but it is worth remembering that Qantas will return on October 31 with direct Sydney Santiago flights, also operated by the 7879, and Although increasing flight options for Brazilians who want to go to Australia, as only a fast connection is needed in Chile.
