Jack Harlow makes his starring debut. White Men Can’t Jump Restart

EXCEPTIONAL: Talk about auditioning for pushing. Musician Jack Harlow will make his acting debut in the reboot of 20th Century White Men Can’t Jump. Calmatic directed a screenplay by Kenya’s Boris and Doug Hall. Barris and his banner of the Khalabo Ink Society produce. Blake Griffin, Ryan Kallil and Noah Weinstein are executive producers through the Mortal Media banner. Hall and E. Brian Dobbins will also be executive producers.

White Men Can’t Jump is a new look at Ron Shelton’s 1992 sports comedy, which helped kick off Woody Harrelson’s film career while Cheers was over. That made Wesley Snipes an even bigger star than he already was. Rosie Perez is also involved. The film follows two street basketball players who first try to bump into each other and then team up for a bigger score.

Harlow will take on the role played by Harrelson and the circumstances behind the landing of the lead role are exceptional. He got the lead role after his first screen audition, immediately winning over directors and performers, especially Barris. Harlow also has a game, as evidenced by his game during the recent NBA All-Star Game. The film’s creators are now trying to tune in to its counterpart as the film is on the fast track.

When it comes to music, Atlantic Records rapper Nail Tech’s recent single was a hit single with a screaming music video. Harlow, who grew up in Louisville, will work on the film around the Forecastle festival, which takes place on his home court in Kentucky from May 27 to 30. He heads the event. Harlow is represented by Range Media Partners, Wasserman Music and Paradigm.
