Jada Pinkett Smith’s former lover sheds some light on their ‘involvement’.

August Alsina, 29, shared a couple of clips on his Instagram on Monday of him sampling a new song titled “Shake the World,” which reveals details of his affair with Pinkett Smith, 50, in 2015.

“Well of course some s— will go down when you mess with the world’s favorite,” Alsina sang in a video shared to his Instagram.

Getty Images</p><p>At the beginning of the song, the R&B singer alludes to the cancellation that followed when Pinkett Smith and her husband, Will Smith, addressed the affair in a July 2020 episode of their famous “Red Table Talk.”</p><p><strong>August Alsina reveals why he broke his silence on relationship with Jada Pinkett Smith</strong></p><p>“I heard I got canceled,” Alsina began. “Well, let’s not talk about it. Red dot on my back, I became a target. And I’m flawed but flawless. That makes me August.”</p><p>This isn’t the first time the singer has used his platform to address his relationship with Pinkett Smith.
