Woman who lives only says goodbye to the wall after being trapped in bathroom for three days

A woman had to be rescued by police after being locked in her own bathroom in Bangkok, Thailand. According to the local Thaiger newspaper, she lives alone and ended up writing a goodbye message on the bathroom wall, thinking she would die in the room.

The incident happened on August 25th. At around 7 p.m., the police were called by the victim’s sister, who reported that she had not been able to contact her for three days.

Upon arrival at the residence, the police had to scale a high iron gate and use pliers to force open the front door. The agents searched the house and when they reached the third floor, they heard a knock on the bathroom door. Upon opening, they found the “disappeared” woman.

The landlady explained that when she entered the bathroom, the doorknob broke and she couldn’t get out. According to her, the incident happened around 8 p.m. on August 22.

Believing that she was going to die as she had no food and was only hydrating herself with tap water, the woman wrote a farewell note using skin products on the room wall:

I’ve been stuck in the bathroom since August 22nd. If I die, please leave my will to Jay Lek. Please give ownership of Tuk to Tua Toon Tum. I drink tap water to survive. Without water I would be dead. I tried to push myself out, I tried to scream but no one heard me.

The publication did not say who the people the woman quoted in the message would be.

After the rescue, she went to the hospital for tests and was found to be in good health.
